Flax Fibers - 100F

This is 3/4 ounce of flax fibers. Flax fibers are the fibers linen is made from. It looks like very fine grass--it's grayish brown and soft and silky. It comes in a cut-down brown lunch bag that measures 4 1/2" tall, 3 1/2" deep and 5" wide. I use it for Santa beards. See the Santa Make-dos pattern. This amount made both beards and I used a generous amount for each.

This is 1 oz. of gorgeous curly white mohair (from goats). Pulled straight, the fibers measure more than 6" long. This is fine and silky and has been washed.

Gray curly cotswold - SGC1

This is 1 ounce of grey Cotswold wool from Wisconsin sheep. I've carefully washed it 2 times and carefully sorted though but I still find small bits of grass and burdock so you might too. It averages 6-8" long and is several shades from beige to charcoal--all from 1 sheep. It's very soft and fluffy. The amount shown is 1 ounce.
