Round Gathering Basket

Great Shaker inspired gathering basket. I've painted this one with 2 coats of paint - the top layer is Cranberry by Olde Century Paint - over a flat black. Once painted, I stained with my black walnut dye to antique the basket.

Approximately 10" in diameter and 5" to rim of basket. Total height with handle is 10".

Square berry basket

Another painted basket - this one is also painted with a flat black base color with a wonderful color - "bread basket" over the top. Once both coats of paint were on, I stained with my boiled black walnut dye.

Approximate measurements: 7" square, 4 3/4" to rim of basket and 9" to top of basket.

Small Key Basket

Small key basket is perfect for hanging on a peg. This is a 2 step painted basket, black as the base coat and Cranberry by Olde Century Paint as the top coat. Stained with boiled black walnut stain.

Approximate measurements are 6" to top of basket and 9" to top of handle. 4 1/2" wide and 3" deep.

Small Comb Basket

Small comb basket, this basket measures 7" wide, 4 1/2" deep and 9" tall to the hanger loop. This basket was stained a medium gray - it really appears to be slate blue - roughed up and stained with black walnut stain. I stitched the date 1803 on an aged piece of Irish Linen and attached it to the front center of the basket.

Americana Trivet

I found this one of a kind ceramic base in Wisconsin, it's handmade and the artist's initials are on the back. I wove a 1 1/4" collar around the trivet with navy blue reed. Perfect for display or use.

Approximate diameter is 7 1/2".

Large Shaker Cat Head Basket

Approximate measurements: 7"high, 10 1/2" diameter and 12" high to top of handle. This basket also features a hand carved handle with a center grip.

Approximate measurements: height 11", 14 1/2" to top of handle, 10" wide and 7 1/2" deep.

Shaker Gathering Basket

The Shaker gathering basket features a fully twined bottom with push-in handle. After I finished weaving this basket it was just begging to be blue. Into the dye pot it went! After the blue dye, I overstained it with my boiled black walnut dye.

Approximate measurements: 4 1/2" to top of basket, 8 1/2" to top of handle. Diameter is 10" wide.

Recyclers Bag Basket

This basket is perfect for your plastic grocery bags. The bottom of the bag is a wooden base with a hole in the center so you can remove a bag as one is needed. The back side of the basket is flat so it will hang flush on your wall.

The metal barn star on the front is painted the same color as the rows of reed. Barn star is approximately 3 1/2".

Lined Lunch Tote

This lined lunch tote is perfect for use as a lunch box, purse or small project basket. I've used mine for all of these purposes and loved it. The handles are a cotton Shaker tape that are woven through the basket for added strength. The Shaker tape is black. The liner is Thimbleberries fabric and is removable for washing. The background is black with stars in 2 tones of mustard/tan.

Measurements are 8" tall, 8" wide and 4" deep.

Oval Rib Basket

This little mini market basket is made using anique embroidery hoops - one round and the other oval. They are worn smooth and have a wonderful patina.

Approximately 5 1/2" wide, 5 1/2" high and 9 1/2" long. There are 4 primary ribs and 3 secondary ribs on each side. The reed is 3/16" wide.
