1776 Rabbit

Prim and grunged this 1776 rabbit is carting a slice of watermelon on his back! His stick legs are sprawled under the weight!

Made from distressed osnburg with a wool tail and a rusty bell hung round his neck from a piece of wire, this fellow is as primitive as they come!

All handmade and painted by me from a Kentucky Primitives pattern. He's just the perfect summertime touch. 10" x 7".

Prim Hand Painted Keepsake/Sewing Box

This quaint hand painted and distressed box makes a perfect keepsake sewing box. It's filled with all your necessary prim sewing notions and special items.

First is a very prim and oh so handy pin keep. I hand stitched a bee on the front and added a grungy calico print to the back. It's filled with needles and rusty safety pins. Second a group of three black nubbies have been tied together with twine and cheesecloth. There's also a sweet little beeswax bird, perfect for hanging on a cupboard door. A prim bird tag comes too!

There are several wooden thread spools, buttons, a thimble, a perfect pair of small scissors, several strips of favorite cloth all tied together and of course a special little bird's nest. I decorated the inside of the lid with stained and torn birds and nest pictures, feathers, and strips of cloth. Everything you need for a perfect day of mending. 7.5" x 3". Shipping $5.95

Primitive Beeswax Red Bird on Limb

I just adore prim little birds. I use them everywhere. This little red 100% beeswax tweetie has been rubbed with my special spices and is especially nice as he is sitting on a branch with a scattering of moss. I've used a little rusty wire to twine around the limbs and make a natural looking hanger.

As you can see by the pictures, you can hang him or sit him in a prim little pot! I'm going to decorate my feather tree with them!
