16 in. Plain Prairie Doll

Just finished this darling Plain Folk Prairie Doll. She is 16" tall, dressed in a black check home spun dress. Her bonnet and apron are made of grunged osnaburg fabric. I hand stitched SIMPLIFY onto her apron.

What a great Cupboard Tuck this doll would be. Or hang her from that empty peg you have been trying to fill.

This is the Sweetest Little Grungy Prim doll. She is approx. 16" tall, made of muslin with a hand stitched face. I gave her a pinched nose also. Her wool hair is felted to her head.

I dressed her in a civil war replica print and then made a pin-a-fore type apron. She is holding a string of dried sweet potatoes. A tiny little rusty star is hanging around her neck.

What a great Christmas Gift she would be for that special prim friend. Or better yet, keep her for yourself to tuck away in an old primitive cupboard.

Osnaburg ANGEL Ornie

This Angel measures 10" from top of the Halo, to the bottom of her dress. She is made of osnaburg and has Navy quilt Wings. I gave her a pinched nose, vintage button eyes and a tiny red mouth. Don't miss her rusty wire Halo w/a rusty tin Star. She has stick arms and a painted yellow Star attached with some rusty wire.

What a great gift this would be for that special Prim Friend. You can hang her on the Tree and then leave her out year round.

Buy her early, so she will reach your home before Christmas. I will put her in the mail as soon as she is paid for.

22in SNOW MAN make-do w/Cardinal

I just finished this Great Snow Man Make Do. The S.M. Head & Cardinal are made of muslin, painted, sanded and grunged. I hand stitched the S.M. eyes and mouth. The nose is made of clay and painted.

I decided to give him a different kind of HAT. (If anyone has been following my stuff, you know that I have been doing alot of faux rusty tin cans.) So his hat is a faux rust tin can, turned upside down and wired to his head. Then one of my hand made Birds decided to make a nest there.

I used a Vintage Honey Comb Bobbin as the base. This fellow stands 22" tall and does stand alone. What a great Holiday decoration.. Leave it out all winter long if you like. A great Shelf Sitter, or place him on your Mantel.
