Caw of the Crow Primitives

~*~So I am pretty sure this is where I sum up my lil' life story. Yikes! Why & when I started creating these funky lil' dolls & things! Like so many other Primitive Artists, I am a stay at home Moma! I am full of hope,strength & inspiration! My Mom and I owned a Primitive Store in California for 6 Years called ~*~BIRDY JO's~*~ It was a great success all the way up to the day my parents retired & my husband relocated our family to Mississippi! Yippie! It is at ~*~BIRDY JO's~*~ that magic & inspiration always appeared. Such great customers, friends and creations were made! It is this lil' store that inspired me to create many unique, grungy, primitive, funky things that always became so close to my heart!! ~ * ~ Are Not Things At All Sampler ~ * ~

~This cute sampler measures 8x10! It is all hand-stiched! All the flowers are made out of funky homespun material that is blanket stiched on!! And there are 4 old funky buttons on top of them!! The lil' bowl is actually some funky plaid wool-like material from "My collection" that is also blanket stitched on!! Now the frame is OLD!! The print that was in it had the date 1942 on it!! So the hanger in the back is definately uniquely made out of twine and tacks! LOL!! Too much!! I think the quote says it all!!!** Please note there are some glares on the glass and these do not appear ON the sampler just the photo!

~This cute lil' sampler measures 8x10!! It is all hand-stitched and was alot of stitching to say the least!! LOL!! I think it is very unique!! The lil' church has a quaint white cross stitched on top of it!!
