Peace on Earth Santa

Countdown as the blessed day approaches!!! Offered is another of my Santas I so enjoy making. Approx. 22 inches long, can sit or hang. Made using aged muslin. Simple pinch stitched nose and artist pencil colored blue eyes. Mohair curls are needle felted in place for his beard and hair.

A red flannel plaid was used to make his coat and finished off in aged cotton batting. Brown buttons are stitched up the front and tied off around the waist with a black chenille cord. Santa wears a pair of black corduroy trousers underneath.

Held in his arm he has a piece of old paper chenille garland and a small black bag filled with greenery, teddy bear, rag balls and candy cane. A small sign hangs off his other hand that reads Peach On Earth. He comes signed and dated from my smoke free home.

Country Santa

Another Santa with a country flair. Approx.22 inches long ( can sit or hang ) Made from aged muslin fabric. Simple pinch stitched nose and blue eyes using artist watercolor pencils. Mohair curls are needlefelted in place for his beard and hair.

A soft plaid flannel quilt top was used to make his coat and real sheepskin wool is stitched on for the trims on the hemlines. A pair of barn red colored flannel trousers are worn underneath.

Held in his arm he holds a bag filled with goodies and wired in his other hand a small rusty bell. Santa comes signed and dated from my smoke free home.
