Sawdust Filled Bowl Filler~ Pie Makin' SPICE Sacks~

Fall/Halloween Collection~ Just in time to use in your Fall Holiday decor...I am offering a grungy set of five (5) old pioneer, frontier style pie makin' spice sacks! They are made from osnaburg...aged to be PRIM PERFECT and smelling wonderfully YUMMY! Each little sack is stamped with a needful spice...CLOVES, NUTMEG, MACE, GINGER, and ANISE. A make-do filler of fine pine sawdust is packed inside with each little sack getting a generous fill!

Each sack has mere approximate measurements as I really didn't measure...rarely ever do...I just ripped each piece as I went along. They do measure somewhere near 2.5 inches X 5.0 inches, give or take! They are all HANDSEWN and here and there you will find a mending place or patch....There are thread loops for hanging from your cupboard doors or, perhaps, from your Prim dressed tree! Fill a bowl, basket or tuck them here and there...they make great little gift, too!

FALL PREVIEW~ Extreme Prim hanging witch ornie doll.."BrewAnna", The SPELL MAKER...made from grungy muslin...completely HAND SEWN and RAG STUFFED...She is grunged to prim perfection and will be the perfect addition to your Holiday collection! She's a unique creation which will never be exactly duplicated!

BrewAnna is THE SPELL MAKER and has her collection of spell ingredients bagged and labeled. She has Tongue of Goat, Black Cats Bone, Bats' Hearts, and for that love spell....Adam & Eve Root! She is dressed from head to toe in her favorite NOT SO BASIC black & white robe....a felt hat with a brim matching her robe, and her cheese cloth apron! From the waist of her apron hangs a sign announcing her as 'SPELL MAKER'. Tucked in her waist is a little bunch of drieds from the garden. Primitive colonial knots make her eyes and her mouth and nose are thread sculpted. Her black ill kept hair is felted sheep wool. She has a hanging loop for easy display and measures approx. 16.5 inches from the tip of her crushed witch hat to the bottom of her robe.

Rag Stuffed~PUNKIN DREAMER~Doll

~FALL PREVIEW~ A unique little PUNKIN GAL DREAMER, made from muslin, color washed to a rusty pumpkin hue, RAG STUFFED, aged to PRIM PERFECTION with pumpkin spice and all things nice, and baked, and sanded for old time charm. She is adorned with lengths of hemp bows, a rusty bell, and green tinted moss around her natural stem from the yard! Just so perfect for your cupboard shelf, gracing your Thanksgiving buffet, or as part of your centerpieces all through the Autumn. She is a great addition to the FALL LEAF GATHERING seen elsewhere in my shoppe! She makes a great gift, too!!!!

Her features are primitively stitched with durable cotton floss with her eyes being two little buttons from my jar. This little Cutie measures approximately 10.0 inches in length with a girth of approximately 10.5 inches. She was inspired by and adapted from a Donna Kozena design. I have fashioned her in the make-do, get-by style of days gone by............using what I had on hand.

Primitively made with calico, aged for that old time, pioneer, farmhouse charm, color washed in Autumn tones of brown, yellow, green, red, and orange~~Completely HAND SEWN, stuffed with old quilt batting, spiced with a mix of cinnamon and ginger and aged with coffee, vanilla & walnut ink!

Along with the leaves, this gathering includes a scattering of Fall Season Drieds. There are hardwood shavings, dried pepper, nuts, pods and a cinnamon log or two! They have been sprinkled with my spice mix, baked and dried and ready for your Thanksgiving buffet, or as part of your centerpieces all through the Autumn. ~ SAWDUST Pillow w/ CORN COB Doll ~

FALL PREVIEW~~RECYCLED from a primitively aged vintage apron and a wonderful piece of honeycomb print this sawdust pillow is the perfect prim addition to your comfy decor. It has been grunged to prim perfection with my coffee and vanilla process. It is bursting with gorgeous Fall colors and has veggie prints from all seasons (!!)...Just perfect for tossing in your old straight back all year long!

I have made it to look used and worn and any imperfections you find are intentionally made by the artist. Lots of fresh, never treated, pine shavings are stuffed inside. There are lumps and bumps and a crackle here and there....just so reminiscent of years gone by! The reverse side is a honey yellow HONEYCOMB print...grubby, of course!! This is a rectanglar shape measuring approx. 18.0 inches X 12.0 inches....and has the heaviness found in the ones Grandma made. This one weighs a tad over 3.0 pounds!

Along with the pillow you will receive one of my One-of-a-Kind CORN COB dolls. She is made from a dried Indian corn cob which has been grunged with my mix of coffee, vanilla and cinnamon.... She wears a seed bag skirt which is made from country gingham and has a vintage ad for Seeds of 1929! Her head is wrapped in dried corn husks and tied in place with corn husks strings. This little guy is on his way to market to sell his harvest. He has a supply of pumpkins and gourds ready 4 SALE in his little burlap tote! He wears coffee/vanilla aged britches made from drab brown ticking and his old paper banner reads: THE PUMPKIN..(a poem by Charles Greenleaf Whittier ~1850) 'OH!~~FRUIT LOVED OF BOYHOOD! ~~THE OLD DAYS RECALLING, WHEN WOOD GRAPES WERE PURPLING AND BROWN NUTS WERE FALLING! WHEN WILD, UGLY FACES WE CARVED IN ITS SKIN, GLARING OUT THROUGH THE DARK...WITH A CANDLE WITHIN! (fourth stanza, in part) This poem, in its entirety, beautifully celebrates the Autumn season, the Thanksgiving holiday, and the pumpkin. My little Pumpkin man has primitively stitched floss features and upon his pumpkin head is a stem from the yard surrounded by dried moss. He measures approximately 11.0 inches. Birdhouse Santa~~ Holiday Doll Ornament

"CHRISTMAS IN JULY"~ ...***...*** Made from osnaburg and muslin, this unique Santa will be a treasure for your primitive Santa collection! This old Santa is watching over the singing bird who has made a nest right in the middle of the stuffed tummy!!!

Santa has been aged with coffee & vanilla, painted, baked, stained, and sanded over & over!!! He has a wonderful old time appeal!!! His features are thread sculpted and his eyes are acrylic, his cheeks are blushed and sealed. I used snowy white sheep wool for his felted hair and beard. The birdie is perching on a twig from the yard and his nest is spanish moss. Santa measures approximately 12.0 inches from the tip of his hat to the bottom of his twig feet! He is adorned with a rusty safety pin and rusty jingle bells!

Dabney~Black Americana MAMMY Sitter Doll

Dabney is just the perfect addition to any Black Americana Folk Art collection....OR..BUY NOW and save for Christmas giving!!! She is an original Jane of Ark creation...One-of-a-Kind, cut from osnaburg using my own brown paper pattern. She is prim as can be...all grubby and coffee stained and smelling yummy good from my mix of maple & vanilla along with cinnamon & cloves! She wears an "aged" apron made from reproduction calico print and accented with two old simple brown buttons from my stash of many! Her head wrap is a grubby flour sack print and her black wavy hair is felted sheep wool.

Her eyes are a combination of stitching, artists pencils, and acrylic paint. Her nose is thread sculpted and her full bottom lip is made from stuffed muslin and stitched securely in place. Her upper lip is outlined with crochet stitching and filled in with artist pencils. You're going to LoVe her features!!! Gurl Willie is an Extreme Prim little doll made from coffee, vanilla and cinnamon grunged osnaburg.She is made the early settler, farmhouse, primitive way...without the benefit of a pattern! She will be especially endearing for your collection...with her felted sheeps wool hair, her twig brows, colonial knot eyes and wide stick smile along with her floss stitched nose! She has a stumpy square body with broad shoulders and dangling arms and legs. She measures approximately 16 inches from top to toe.

Just so very PRIM PERFECT! They are totally hand stitched with a durable crochet thread, made of muslin, grubbied up to look well worn and much loved, and completely RAG STUFFED! Their features are primitively stitched with a combination of colonial knots, and thread sculpting!

Each of the Pumpkin folks are dressed and ready to make those Holiday pies. The PIECOOK in her grubby crochet hemmed apron and holding her rolling pin....one spice boy in his rusty orange and brown overalls with his bag of NUTMEG spice....spice boy #2 is dressed in overalls made from grubby burlap and his bag of GINGER spice hangs from his shoulder. Each pumpkin head is topped with a stem from the yard and green tinted moss.
