39" tall Libby is my very newest Americana doll. She's made of muslin. Her nose and lips are sculpted with the sewing machine. The painted and sanded crown is part of her head. She has button eyes, and I've accented the nose and eyebrows with hand embroiderer outline stitches. She has raw wool hair needle felted to her head. She has "boots" painted a grayish blue with rusted safety pin buckles. She wears muslin pantaloons and her dress is red and white stripe with a field of stars on the right front of the bodice (the way a flag should be displayed if hung vertically).

This chubby, 22" tall Annie is one of the most unique Annie's I've designed. She's made of muslin, painted, sanded and stained. She has applique'd eye backs with buttons stitched on top. She has a hand embroidered nose and mouth. Her hair is made from rayon yarn (leftover from a purse my mother crocheted in 1940) that I untwisted. Her legs are painted with red stripes. She wears lace trimmed muslin pantaloons under her homespun dress of rusty burgundy and mustard. There are 2 large brown buttons on the bodice.

His nose is made of muslin, wired and painted. The pocket is hand stitched to the front of his body. There is a large rusty snowflake sewn to the pocket and a shovel stitched to one side. He wears a rust, beige, and brown plaid scarf that matches the band on his handmade, black felt hat. The pocket contains faux juniper leaves and berries, red berries, dried twigs, cinnamon sticks, twigs with crystal sparkles, and I've sprayed the florals with a paint that looks like fresh snow.
