Little Rusty Bird

Here is a rusty-brown bird that's settling in for the night, tucking his beak between his wings. This fellow is hand sewn and made of old wool. He is fiberfilled and has bead eyes and a thorn beak. He's got one wire leg up, and the other in the old wood base.

This bird is about 5 inches long and about an inch wide. He stands a little over 4 inches tall.Not child safe.The price includes shipping.

Mr. Graybird

Mr. Graybird is made of papier mache. I have painted him and sanded him for a real folky look. His wire legs are fastened to a lovely rusty lid. There is a vintage newspaper ad glued under the rim of the lid, and cardboard under that, so no rust will mar furniture. This piece is 8 inches tall. The bird is 9 inches long, by 3 inches wide. The diameter of the lid is 6 inches.I loved making this bird.

Molly the Angel

This Prim angel that I have tea-stained and sanded is 19 inches long. She hangs on the wall from a string sewn to her back. She has dyed wool hair sewn to her head. Little muslin wings sewn to her back too.I cut her out without a pattern. She is stuffed with fiberfill. The body is tea-stained muslin. She wears a bit of lace for underwear, and has a muslin slip.
