~*My Favorite Kitten*~ Pinkeep Pattern

Warmest blessings to you, my dear friends. Up for the offering is my latest primitive, counted thread pattern... an olde~tyme, prairie style autograph book.For the model, I worked on 30 count linen with muted shades of brown floss to create a ditty that looks time~worn. Standing proudly are two thankful squirrels, a glorious Autumn bloom, a cross, and the year '1848'.The finished book is approximately 7 1/2 by 3 1/2 inches.The pattern comes with a full color photograph, easy to read cross stitch chart, detailed list of necessities to complete the project, and full, easy to follow instructions.The stitches are made from three shades of DMC floss. The browns are similar in tone ~ giving a muted, faded appearance.

The finished pillow is approx. 6 1/2 by 6 inches.... or 87 by 82 stitches. I stitched the model on a piece of delicious, Weeks Dye Works hand~dyed linen... 30 count. The lil' pillow would look darling on your tea cart out in the garden ~ or add a little hanger to display it on your garden gate!

(63 x 165 stitches) The model was stitched on primitive, natural linen and constructed with early print cotton fabrics. It makes a charming accent to place in a bowl with other olde sewing needfuls.
