Framed Penny Rug

My newest offering is this great penny rug in a wonderful hand made, hand grained frame. The pennies are done in tan, plum, off white and a great dark teal wool. They are hand dyed and stitched on in a great dark brown floss. The entire piece measures 11X13.

Bunch of Carrots

These carrots are a Primitive Homespuns original design. There are 3 carrots in the bunch and they are each a different size and shape. They are made from painted and aged osnaburg fabric and they are hand sculpted to give them a nice texture. The tips of the carrots are raffia with sprigs of sweet annie tied on. These carrots look fantastic in a wooden bowl or trencher.

Woolens Sheep

One of my favorite items to make are sheep. They just make me happy! This is one of my newer designs and I just love how it has turned out. This sheep is made from aged wool felt with stick legs and a great coverlet blanket. I have added a "woolens 1842" label to his side. A perfect size for your cupboard or shelf.
