Extreme Primitive Americana Raggedy Betsy and Doll Set

Meet Betsy an extreme primitive Americana Doll who is made osnaburg, that was stained in walnut ink and coffee and baked several times, each time adding layers of our special spice mix and stain. She was then sanded to look well worn and loved. This doll's eyes are buttons sewn on top of homespun scraps. Her nose is homespun fabric and she has a stitched mouth.Her hair is brown wool hair. Betsy has a boxed bottom n is weighted to sit nicely but also has a hanger on her head so she can be hung.

Betsy is wearing a dress made from red, white and blue checked homespun fabric with flags. Her bloomers are made from muslin. Betsy has red painted shoes and she measures 16 inches tall. Betsy is holding her own Raggedy Ann Doll, extreme of course made from osnaburg with hand stitched face and wool hair.Her dress is made from muslin and hand flags stiched on the front. Annie is stained nice and grungy and measures 11 inches tall. She is stitched onto Betsy's arm.

Extreme Primitive

This Extreme Primitive Shweet Reindeer is made from osnaburg with mulin antlers. This Reindeer is stained with our own mix of walnut ink stain and spices. The face is a mix of hand stitching with buttons for eyes and homespun nose.

On the antlers you will find several sizes of rusty bells strung onto jute and sewn on. This Reindeer is 18 inches tall by 11 inches wide and is made to hang on your wall or on a protected door.This is an origial copyrighted Shweet Potato Dolls N Patterns creation. My Reindeer is based on a graphic by Carm with Shweet Potato Designs with her permission of course.

Americana Sheep

Red, White and Ewe just getting ready for our Summer time celebrations. This is an original Shweet Potato Dolls N Patterns Sheep. This sheep is made from red,white (ivory) and blue homespun checked fabric. The head is made from navy fabric with mini ivory stars. He has a stitched nose and tiny rusy bells for eyes.

On the tummy of this Sheep you will find a star made from ivory fabric with mini red stars. The legs are made from wood sticks from the yard of our Tree House Apartment. This Red, White and Ewe measures 7" across and 6 inches tall not counting his legs. This sheep was primed up in walnut ink stain and rubbed nicely with fresh nutmeg before baking in the hot Texas sun.

Extreme Primitive Bee Angel Doll

Spring has Sprung and just in time to keep those Bees away from your dollies...Our Bee Angel. I know bees are so important to keeping beauty in our world. They make sure our flowers bloom and our fruit are able to grow but man I do not like bees around me. So we decided to create a Bee Angel to watch over us and keep the bees busy doing the job they are suppose to be doing and not stinging Momma.

This extreme Bee Angel has a muslin body with 100% cotton bee printed fabric. She has been stained with starbucks coffee, with a slight hint of carrot cake and cinnamon to make her nice and prim like. She is made to hang on the wall, door or on a wreath. This Angel is an original Shweet Potato Dolls N Pattern design and measures 10 inches from wing to wing and 5.5 inches tall. She will arrive signed and dated by the artist, our Momma... Vintage Chicken Wire Baby Booties

While vintage shopping with my Kassy we stumbled across this very unique pair of vintage chicken wired baby booties. They measure 4 1 /2 inches long and 2 1/2 inches tall. They are made entirely out of rusty chicken wire with seperate tongues and even a bow on the front of each shoe. The shoes are wired together.

These shoes would make an awesome addition to any prim collection and are very unique. They came from the home of an eighty eight year old neighbor lady who's daughter said her mom told her, they came from her grandma's house. So they have been around quite a while.
