Welcome to Spinning Wheel Primitives! My name is Candy and I've been crafting since I was a little girl. I am self taught because nobody else in my family is crafty at all! I have 7 children, my youngest is 9 and my oldest is 31. My youngest two children are from Haiti and definatly a blessing to us! I also have two beautiful grandaughter! I love mostly extreme primitives. The older and grungier it looks the better I like it!
Jenny The Slave Doll
Meet Jenny. She is extremely primitive. Jenny is made from muslin and measures approximately 21 inches tall. Her dress and bonnet on made from a grungy vintage feedbag.

This is named Effie. She is made from osnaburg fabric and has sheeps wool hair. She has stick arms and legs and measures 13 inches tall. She's a real cutie. A big thanks to Kentucky Primitives for the pattern.Her sister Olivia is sold below.

Primitive Civil War Soldier Lavender Sachets
This is a set of two of my new Civil War Soldier lavender sachets. They smell wonderful. Each measures approximately 5x7 inches and is made from stained parchment. I tied a soldier picture on with string.
Mr. and Mrs. Higgins Make-dos
Mr. and Mrs. Higgins are made of osnaburg fabric. They have button eyes and stitched nose. Mrs. Higgins has hair made of sheeps wool. Poor Mr. Higgins is bald but has a long beard made of sheeps wool.
Edward The Civil War Soldier Make-Do
Edward is made from osnaburg fabric and wears a wool hat. His eyes are stitched and his nose is made from a rusty nail. His beard is made of sheepswool. He is attached to an antique bobbin.
