Olde Goat

This is the first in a new series that I will be offering. It will be a farm series. Olde Goat is a sad old man. He is 26 inches. I made him from grungy and painted unbleached osnaburg, completely rag stuffed. He appears to be one hundred years old. Aged to perfection, tattered and full of worn spots. Both eye's are grungy pieces of an old feed sack, sewn on with black floss. Pinched nose and mouth. Raw flax fiber for his shaggy beard.

He wears old blue-jean over-alls, believe me, these have seen better days. Old blue cotton grungy shirt. His feet look like old boots. He certainly looks like an old farmer.

His old Goat is made from the same osnaburg, black, rag stuffed, stick legs, {he can stand alone}, 5 x 8 inches. Raw flax fibers for his goats beard and just alittle on his head. Old twine tail. I wrapped him in an old grungy piece of a wool blanket, grungy red homespun and finally some grungy string. He has a bag of Prairie Grass, 4 x 8 inches, and his silly old flag, it reads, OLDE GOAT." It is 8 1/2 x 13 inches. Remember this guy is the first in a series, more to come for sale on my picture trail later.
