Gloria
Gloria is #7 in my "OLD PRIM GAL" series. She is 38 inches, rag stuffed. Now this old gal is quite a hoot, see that long neck ?? Well with that neck she has a slight problem, it kinda aches so she carries with her at all times her tonic of, "RHEUMATISM GLORIA TONIC." But she is a little embarrassed so she keeps it in a her bag. Gloria has raw flax fibers for her hair, her eye's are miss-matched old buttons and her nose is a grungy piece of artist cloth stuffed and sewn in place. Her mouth is stitched with barn red floss is a big ol' smile.
Her top half has been stitched to her lower half and she is quite tattered. Her skirt is a grungy piece of an old blanket. I made her from grungy and painted artist cloth and her arms and legs are grungy old ticking, with rusty safety pins to keep the stuffing from falling out and her feet have patches and rusty pins to keep the stuffing in.
Her tonic bottle is 8 1/2 inches with grungy muslin on the top, the bag is 5 x 6 1/2, made from a floral print calico. She is a OOAK, designed by me, signed and dated along with my trademark design of Oswald on her backside.
