Eagle

Eagle mounted on a glass pedestal which has been painted and covered with spices extremely grungy. He stands 14 inches tall and proudly flaring his wings.

Eagle is made from muslin fabric, painted dark brown and extremely distressed. He has tiny rusty bells for eyes and is wearing three rusty bells around his neck.

Cat and Scarecrow Tissue Boxes

My tissue boxes are paper mache painted black and hand stenciled. I apply a primitive low lustre finish which gives my boxes a nice sheen.

The cat is a deep orange and the scarecrow is a deep mustard color, both very toned down primitive colors.

3 Piece Fall Box Set

This is a 3-piece paper mache box set which I have painted, hand stenciled, and distressed. The overall height of all three boxes is 15 inches. They are rectangular boxes.

The large box is 6 inches and is black with dark orange pumpkins. The middle box is a dark orange and is 5 inches with the words U-Pick Pumpkins 25 cents each. The small top box is black 4 inches tall, black, with a dark orange scarecrow.

After I paint my boxes, I apply a low lustre primitive finish. They are not as bright as the pictures. They are extremely destressed. Box set is $10.00 + $5.00 shippping.

Sunflower Mason Jar

This is the larger sized mason jar. It is 7 inches tall. I have painted it robin egg blue and attached a picture of a sunflower on the front. It has been extremely grunged with a mixture of coffee and spices and then sealed to protect the finish.

I have attached around the neck of the jar with some rusty wire a tag which reads Sunflower. A piece of coffee stained cheesecloth is around the jar and secured with a rusty pin. I have filled the jar with some preserved sunflowers and Sweet Annie along with some grasses.

Checkers Box

Checkers box is 11 x 11 x 3 1/2 high and is paper mache. I have painted the box black and hand stenciled checkers in ivory color are all four sides.

The top of the checker board is ivory and red. They were then antiqued for a toned down and antique look. I then apply a low lustre wax for a nice primitive finish.

Flying Cat

Flying Cat is made from black and tan ticking fabric and his head is coffee stained muslin. He's got a painted face.

I've attached a little cord for hanging, but he can be tucked away on a shelf. His paws are twigs. He measures 14 inches wide and 5 1/2 inches tall.

Prairie Doll

Prairie Doll measures 13 inches and she is made entirely from coffee stained muslin.

Her dress bodice is a tan, deep purple, and green stripe with a skirt of purple with tan flowers. Her pantaloons match the bodice.

Springtime Black Folk Art Doll

My sweet little girl is just ready for spring with her prim flower. She is 15 inches tall and has been made from painted, baked, and coffee-stained muslin.

Her facial features have been needle sculpted with buttons for eyes, and her mouth is made from a piece of wool stitched on. Her hair is needle felted into place and is very extremely crinkled brown sheeps wool. The dress is a coffee-stained small print of tiny blue flowers.

Family of Geese

These geese were made from coffee stained muslin. They measure from 8“x11“ to little guy being 5“x7“. The homespun around their necks are a small plaid red and blue colors.

Annie with Rag Doll

My little Annie is made from coffee stanied muslin. She is wearing a dress made from blue and white ticking which has also been coffee stained. Her apron is made from an eyelet fabric and she has on pantaloons underneath.

She is holding her little rag doll. Both Annie and her doll have natural sheeps wool for hair. It's very curly and wispy.
